GALE

Gale provides 20 different comprehensive research databases covering various topics (some of the relevant databases have already been posted in this blog). Gale also provides access to CVHS' library of non-fiction eBooks covering a wide range of topics. You can read the books online (using any device) and there is an option to listen to the text as it highlights the words onscreen. You may also print individual pages of the books as needed. See Mrs. Schulze in the library for the access password (required both on and off campus).

JSTOR provides access to more than 10 million academic journal articles, books, and primary sources in 75 disciplines.  Explore scholarly content here. JSTOR can be accessed via Houston Public Library's Online Databases and Resources .  You must apply for a free HPL Library Card and PIN to access their databases.  You can apply online and the number and PIN will be generated online.  Click on Get a MY Link Card on the top left menu bar.
